Katia Lasaridi

Katia Lasaridi is Professor of Environmental Management and Technology at Harokopio University in Athens, Greece. Her work focuses on sustainable waste management within the Circular Economy, with particular expertise in food waste prevention and treatment, WEEE management, and Extended Producer Responsibility. She holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Leeds.

She has served as President of the Hellenic Recycling Agency and held senior leadership roles at Harokopio University. She currently sits on the Scientific Committee of the Hellenic Institute of Local Authorities.
